you think I called him a good manager cos of just the last 3 months? And I'm the one who gets called an idiot.
He's a very good manager. He's won stuff. Lots of stuff. with unfashionable clubs. Cups we could only dream about. Our last couple of managers have included Marco Silva and Sam Allardyce, and a guy who took us all for absolute mugs and finished 12th and 10th with spending that Benitez can only dream about..
This chap is motivated, has a proven track record, is the most ruthless manager we've had since Kendall. He's perfect for what we need. You keep banging on about the last couple of months. The only 'bad' as in unexpected results in that run were Watford Brentford and Wolves. So, down 5 points from a respectable position. but we got a point at OT, and a win against Arsenal when most thought a draw would have been good enough. So really, in your nightmare two month spell, we are down two points after a really tough run of fixtures, and an injury list from hell with a threadbare squad.
Give it up now Jake, come back to enjoying Everton win games, or you'll end up in the same funny farm as Kev the Rat by the end of the season.
He stopped reading after you said he is a very good manager. It is not what he wants to hear. He doesn't want to remember anything he has previously won because it will muck up his agenda. He hates him and that is all he will write about. He tries to make you feel like an enemy because some want Benitez to succeed (for obvious reasons meaning we will be doing well). Quite a lot of us want to give Benitez a bit of time as we are fed up with the managerial merry go round but we get classed as Benitez lovers or even as one Norwegian said 'not Evertonians'.

yes, a lot of people in here are determined to never accept him Their loss. It's important to remember though that the percentages of support on this website do not reflect in any way the match going supporter, all of whom left Goodison Park in buoyant mood on Monday.

Of course they left in buoyant mood - they had just willed their team to victory

What’s that got to do with Benitez?

He's been a disaster.

Who is arsed what he's done with other clubs?

I only care about what he's doing to Everton, none of which has been impressive to anyone with a brain.

A win against Arsenal and a draw against Utd don't make up for 9 dropped points to Watford, Wolves, and Brentford.

Based off of this maths you subscribe to the "Expected losses" formula. I suppose West Ham was an "Expected Loss" also since you aren't including that? What about Villa?

He's an absolute disaster. You can keep making excuses and pretending everything is fine if you want, but it's idiotic like I said.

By their own admission
When Calvert Lewin comes back I for one am going to back the manager to win every remaining league game bar 2 draws.
by their own admission the cultists acknowledge the Ancelotti points total as a minimum expectation.

No doubt he can rustle up the 40+ points in 20 games required to reach par for the course

I did, because it simply hasn't been true for Everton.

Nothing about what he has done here could be described as "good".

It's not a coincidence he had to reach back decades ago to justify saying it.
