3 points from the last 6, and 2 points off midtable, and 3 points off top half of the table.

See what I did there? What you and others have done: chosen stats to prove a point.
I just chosen true stats. All well and good day 2 points from blah blah but when your next 2 games are Chelsea away(given them 3 points now and save a trip) an a very tough home game vs Leicester with a toxic Goodison
You looking at it being 2 win in 13

...and yet he's still here...the manager who the players played for against Arsenal.
I would argue the players performed for the fans due to the atmosphere generated but happy to debate. After all they performed for Benitez prior and since didn't they. Also I don't think we played great against arsenal but shows how expectations have fallen don't they.

Figured it would be of interest to share Benitez has turned around a similar situation before at Newcastle; they went 3 points out of 30 and winless in 10 at the start of the 18-19 season. They eventually finished 13th, which obviously isn't good enough, but still worth bringing up; one Salomon Rondon was their Player of the Year :pint2:

His remit was to keep them up though, that was all Ashley was bothered about. That's not good enough here.

Am I wrong that we are 3 points off top half?

Am I?

We’ve won 2 games since September. We’ve lost 3 games in a row twice since then.

I know that and I am not saying it is good or that it is not a reason to be concerned.

But I do not think it is the right move to sack RB when the manager is evidently not the biggest problem.
