Early days.
A lot of fans sharpened knives before a ball was kicked.
Injuries.
Squad full of spineless jellyfish.
Couple of wins from looking alright in the table.
Who else? Anyone now is a bit doomed so replace him when the DOF finds someone better.
Using him like Chelsea did made sense to me. He was a better choice than Nuno Santo and Howe.
etc etc.

That was me - but the last few weeks has demonstrated that Benitez is - in my opinion, no longer holding the fort but being given thumbs up to try and build another one.

That paints another picture entirely.

There's changes happening which we assume is under Benitez' instruction and I'm just not convinced. This is a manager who it's hard to imagine ever being far away from things turning very nasty so to give him the autonomy to make long term decisions is a bad mistake.

But then, with no DOF - we've not got many at the club who I'd trust to make those decisions.

A real mess.
You said Sunday you would do a new poll to see what people think. 3 days since we played and before we get tanked tomorrow mighr be worth a 24 hour poll?

Isn't that an oxymoron? Why are we falling behind in so many games if he's such a tactical genius?
no, if he's getting them in at half time and masterminding wins then that's down to good tactics. He's reacting to situations, finding solutions. Now, yes you could say 'we shouldn't concede' but that is not down to tactics. He is a very good 'in play' manager. Unlike say Silva, who had just one way of playing and when it did n't work that was it.

He’s truly turning everything around the club toxic
I know a older married couple who got involved in a physical confrontation/threatened on Sunday because the wife was abused for clapping Gordon off . I have a couple of mates who saw two fans ejected for fighting amongst themselves. I know blues in London who’ve turned down spare tickets for Chelsea because they went Sunday and don’t fancy going again , seriously .

This is of course on those who misbehave but its a direct legacy of this man’s appointment to the managers role and when it was pointed out by many that it’d happen others shouted it down . This will only get worse and it’ll take time after he’s gone to repair the damage.

jesus christ surely you don't believe half the crap that comes out of your mouth, do you?

16 games 18 points. Defeats to Watford, Brentford, Crystal Palace etc.. Tactically excellent, Jesus.
You do realise there were other reasons we've had a difficult two months? You know, the crippling injury list, not being able to buy players, the paucity of the squad], having to play unfit players. You can/t just say 'it's his fault' and expect a team with Delph Gomes Keane Holgate an unit Coleman and Godfrey to go around pulling up trees. He's gonna need time and patience. But he has an excellent record, we are in good hands. Quit your jibba Jabba.

Noone is expecting them to pull up trees. I would expect a few wins here and there though.

His record in last 6/7 years is not excellent though.

And if those reasons persist we should just let Benitez relegate us?
