In Ancelotti’s book he gets endorsements from CR7 , Zlatan , Beckham , Nesta and Terry.

You would be hard pressed to find a more confident and self motivated group of players.

Judging from the comments from Bayern players CA doesn't do intensity in training or match preparation.

I suspect that despite professing to be an excellent man manager he finds dealing with " ordinary " players difficult and is unable to motivate them.

With the benefit of hindsight he was a terrible fit for Everton.

He worked well with one or two of our players but in the main I imagine he found it frustrating working with a fairly average squad. You could tell he was bemused at times with what was happening on the pitch.

Players like Ronaldo don’t need anyone to motivate them or tell them what to work on. Most our players probably do though!

I agree. Benitez call for a future better flow of home grown players is ominous. The club's bungling of our signings in past years leaves us with a threadbare squad. Our midtable rivals are a serious challenge this season. Top 10 is a realistic finish. Roll on no next April.

Basically that is ego. Nothing to say vidic and Rio couldn’t learn some thing from players that aren’t as good. Moyes obviously wanted to defend a way and showing clips from his former club is an obvious way of doing that.

Yeah despite them winning the league the season before, Moyes walked into a squad that needed massive changes. Not sure signing Fellaini was the answer!

Yeah Ferguson knew when his time was up with regards to Moyes. If city didn’t win the league the year before I actually believe Ferguson would of left united he wanted to go out on an high with a title under his belt

He's got a long history of alienating elite players.
I guess at Everton that's not really an issue.
