Embrace the rafalution or stand on the sidelines of tis brand new project.

.
Quite a ridiculous name isn’t it rafalution? It’s not a case of not wanting to see a shake up at the club, I most certainly do. It’s just that for lots of reasons Benitez is not the man for the job. In order to be given the time to complete a major reshaping of a club, the manager has to be overwhelmingly popular with the fans, that way they will accept some setbacks on the pitch in order to gradually improve the overall situation. Benitez was always going to be a very divisive appointment and, as such, He doesn’t have the goodwill of the fans to allow him a couple of poor results without people calling for his head.

Another reason for being wary of any Benitez instigated revolution, is that he is not a team player, Benitez throughout his career has demonstrated that his number one priority is Benitez. He is quite likely to be willing to take a sledgehammer to the club, but, what will we be left with when he begins his rebuild? It may well be something which is totally in his image, which could be a problem, because, with the best will in the world, Benitez will not be manager here long term. It is quite on the cards that when a new man comes in, he will look at the staff Benitez has appointed and decide he needs to rip it up and start again as well.

I know you don’t agree, but, a strong empowered DOF is the way forward, get a playing system accross the club and stick to it, then appoint coaches who can work within those parameters.
