With what Money?
Is it?

If we had no FFP problems, could afford to sack him whilst attracting/backing a good level manager with £100+ million in the transfer window I would boot him at this point.

However thats not the reality of the situation is it?

We're skint
On the verge of FFP sanctions
Mid season

Throw in Moshiri only appoints PL experienced managers we'll be breaking FFP just to appoint a Lampard/Pulis/Hughes type no mark.

Hence why im not fussed either way - clubs in a bad situation.

FFP is total BS mate. Nobody has ever been punished for it and the league allows clubs to sponsor stadiums that don’t even exist.

Moshiri can spend if he wants to, and he bloody needs to right now.

But I said to ignore all the money, and you have written paragraphs about the money.

Saying you aren't fussed indicates you are happy for him to not be sacked, therefore happy enough with our results and football we are watching.

But how can you do that as that would be egnoring the reality of the situation.

Of course I’m not happy. Do I think firing another manager whilst Keane and Coleman are still in the team is the answer? No. If Benitez keeps picking Michael Keane he will get himself fired though. The man is not a professional footballer
Didn't have to pick either of them today. Could have put digne at LB and Kenny at rb with Holgate and Godfrey.

He dropped Coleman last game because he has been crap, then brought him back in, out of position, on his weak foot, all so he can prove a point.

I'll offer a slightly different take, but it's arguably as damning. The squad is proper drek and nicking a win is probably entirely sensible. Ancelotti set up a sort of cattenacio system last season which delivered equally as bad football but was more effective in terms of overall results and points gained.

Rafael has somehow taken a similarly defensive approach but given us the defensive acumen and results of a Roberto Martinez team. Without the fun bits.

Imagine that.
We look more exposed though when he puts a 5 man defence out and in turn leaves us light in midfield

? 1-1 vs Man United
❌ 0-1 vs West Ham
❌ 2-5 vs Watford
❌ 2-1 vs Wolves
? 0-0 vs Tottenham
❌ 3-0 vs Man City
❌ 1-0 vs Brentford
❌ 1-4 vs Liverpool
☑️ 2-1 vs Arsenal
❌ 3-1 vs Crystal Palace
? 1-1 vs Chelsea
❌ 3-2 vs Brighton

How many of those games have we even looked like winning…a demarai gray boot out of the blue from no wins at all.

City / Liverpool / Watford / Brentford / palace / Wolves were horrendous performances on top of the defeats.
