Lads, lads, why are you all complaining?
Firstly, before the game the infallible self proclaimed forum sensei preached about us routing Brighton. So we must have won, right?
Oh, wait...
But we won the second half, didn't we? What more do you want? Plus, we are only about 50 points behind City and 30 behind top 4 which is nothing with us winning the next 18 games which is inevitable with Davies coming back from injury.
And if this still isn't enough for you - the Great reformator is here to stay until he purges this rotten, sin ridden club. He might even win the derby against Tranmere in the process.

Come on @4737carlin .
Defend the man you have told us is our future and stop lurking.
ok, well my take, first off im as piss** off as everyone else with how things are going.
Today i didnt see too much of a issue with the starting 11 until they lined up, Godfrey should of been left back like he was against Chelsea and Arsenal i think? our two best games of the season, either way he should of been there and Coleman in his actual place, that was a massive error, Kenny was a disaster, he easily could of avoided that. In fact Kenny didnt even have to start, he could of put Gomes out, who did play well at Chelsea, so the options were there.
That aside once we kicked off within minutes it was clear it wasnt working and he should of moved players around. Then he had to make a change at Half tme, it was rubbish for 45 with that line up so wasnt going to suddenly get better, ok we started the second half ok, and got one back
Keane, Kenny and Holgate were a disgrace, Coleman was grim too but its hard to fully put that on him when he sholdnt of been there.
As the game went on Allan and Doc were both shocking, DCL gets a pass as he wasnt match fit but that penalty was a joke.
Also i dont understand why he only made two subs, that was insane.
Kenny, Keane, Holgate, Coleman, Allan and Doc were all terrible, with individual errors of there own making, yes Benitez really messed up his part of the game but those 6 didnt help with only Coleman having an excuse.

That aside, Rafael, yeah im as down about all this as anyone but i really still dont think he will get sacked and im still not convinced that would be the answer anyway when so many players are a playing as badly as today and there no obvious replacement, in fact im certain he wont be, not with him going out buying playrs right now
Not gong to play the injuries card, obvs if Mina, Ricky and Branthwaite were available it might of been differnt but those players that did play have no excuses for how bad they played and since Dobbin or Simms didnt get on Jarrad might not of done either.
Its all too depressing....

5 defenders at home…… against Brighton. Our game plan was seemingly ”smash it to Gray” .why exactly is Everyone in the coaching staff oblivious to how easy Everton is to play against with only 2 centre midfielders??, this has been happening for 2 years ffs!!
why exactly is everyone in the coaching staff oblivious to how clueless Everton is defending set pieces????

do one Everton and every bellend with any say so in how the team is set up/handcuffed. Brighton for Christ sake, 5 at the back….. not Liverpool though….. I want answers but all I will get is Seamus Coleman struggling with the English language in a few days with the one millionth meaningless rallying cry

This has been coming for years mate…the club is a mess, poor recruitment, no stability, no plan. At least now everything is coming out and things are getting changed. We finished 10th under Carlo Ancelotti, we need a major rebuild. I’m happy to give him time, unless we are in serious danger of relegation.
Errmm, we are..........

I am not convinced that any amount of signings will change anything. Any new signing will still be managed by a stubborn man who will play them out of position or bench them if they question his out of date ultra defensive tactics. Give him 3 Ronaldo's and he would put one at left back, one at right back and get a sulk on with the other for wanting to attack a bit more and put him on the bench, let him warm up a little bit to pretend it looks like he might play him when he never actually will.

We are heading for disaster under Moshiri. He finally decides to back a manager when we have had a worse run than any previous managers and most evertonians don't want him. Club is rotten at the core and it doesn't look like anything is going to change anytime soon.

Man its depressing.
