We were saying this weeks ago then picked up 4 points from Chelsea/Arsenal whilst the bottom 3 have remained the bottom 3.
And yet we are still bottom of the form table and we are still losing to teams around us. Getting points as irregularly as we are, we won't make 40 points.

And as I said, that bottom 3 will all have to play us.

If we had Kamara/Kessie/Zakaria who are all a bit different...next to Doucoure in a 2 we would be fine...IF;

We had better full backs
We had a defender to bring the ball out
We had a '10' to link CM to wings/CF.
Those 2 need a Lee Carsley, someone who reads the danger, breaks it up and gives to someone better. Rinse and repeat

He has a tactical plan alright but it doesnt work. The first play where dcl goes out wide and the tip off is kicked up to him. Then stand off and let the other team gain possession until they go one or 2 goals up and then go and try to claw back a draw against very average midtable teams. Same as last number everton managers. Carlo, silva, sam, koeman, martinez (apart from his first season)

Sit back, go a goal down and then try to get some kind of result by pushing forward after 70 mins. Groundhog day.
The very reasons I want to see Lampard appointed.

Have Brighton got a single player we would want to sign (aside from that Bisouma)?

Anyone who witnessed them zipping the ball about yesterday, while we couldn’t string 2 passes together & still backs the Fat Slug is a koppite. No other explanation.
A question if I may @Rudolf Hucker as I really can't be arsed looking this up myself. Have Brighton scored 3 goals in any game this season? Especially away from home?
Of all the 'lesser' teams that have turned us over this season, I can hardly recall more than one of their players I would like at Everton, let alone name more than two in their team.
Truth is, the sum of the parts in other teams far outweighs their singular abilities. Whereas, Everton have international players costing a fortune who, apart from a couple, that are attractive enough for another team to bid for. This is the part which really gives me angst. We have better players in the main, yet look garbage.
There is only one person that has control over the team selection and tactics and formation and fitness and the call of which substitutions need to be made, and when to make them.

Anybody who still blames the crowd needs a reality check.

Last time they scored three was apparently 12 months ago , to the day I think .

Has I explained in another post, Ancelotti uses the squad to their ability. Hence he sacrificed possession for sitting deep and sneaking a goal. We were playing good footy before the injuries hit, he tried replacing people and keeping the same style, it didn’t work so he binned it off to be extremely pragmatic.

It had us second at Christmas. Now the fall off in the second half of the season was alarming, but if rumours are true then he’d basically agreed to rejoin Madrid and the players knew.

Point being, the squad can grind out points if the manager is right

If the criteria for the right manager is 3 time CL winner, only manager In history to do it with three clubs, only manager in history to win league titles in europes five top leagues, probably the most tactically adaptive pragmatic manager in the history of the game with decades of experience as a top player and manager at the biggest clubs in Europe, and probably one of the best man managers of all time.

If this is the only type of manager that can get these players playing then good luck is in finding another one.

No not at all, the criteria is a manager who can be adaptive and know the strengths of the team. Benitez said he did this, knew the team inside out. Clearly not
