I was always keen to give Rafael a chance but after going to the Brighton game this has now cemented my feeling that he needs to go asap. This isn’t just based on awful tactics and arrogance its more to do with the environment and toxic feeling inside Goodison. I took my lad to the game (he’s 8) and stupidly though he would enjoy the atmosphere In the Glawdys Steet, this was a poor decision from me and one that I now totally regret. We’ve sat in other areas of the ground plenty of time and under situation not as bad as this but honestly Sunday was the worst I’ve felt inside the ground, it wasn’t and an experience I would like him go through again. We had to leave the ground after 20 mins as he was scared and crying. Once outside he asked me not to take him back to Goodison and this really upset me. Goodison is my favorite place to watch football but it just is not the same as it was and until Rafael leaves its not going to get any better. If everyone isn’t pulling in the same direction and behind the manager its always going to end bad and the fact we’re accepting it getting worse is baffling. It needs to change now before we start losing supporters, especially younger fans the next generation. Sad times……
Should have stayed mate, the little un will need a full re-induction now to be able to boo appropriately. It takes years to master and 20mins will in now way have prepared him for the the years of discontent to come.

Maybe Digne has a bit more class than Benitez and doesn't feel the need to get into a tit for tat. Benitez blames the players for almost every defeat so I wouldn't believe a word that comes out of his mouth, not that I ever listen to him anyway.

I can't agree there mate - if your manager called you out to the world / your colleagues etc as being unprofessional you wouldn't say anything?

How many players go running to the press saying their manager has had a go at them while at the club ?

Doesn’t happen

They keep their mouths shut and wait to be transferred

Plenty of incidents of spats between players and managers.

If you knew you was oot the door despite being fully committed/not in the wrong you would surely give your side of the story rather than have your character assassinated publically.

That's awful mate. Hopefully we'll get a more positive vibe at Goodison soon ao you can take your nipper back.

By Digne keeping quiet, he`s shown class and Benitez to be what he is, an arrogant, egotistical bully.

It`s a tag that`s followed him from club to club, so it`s not as though it`s the first time.

I`m hoping against hope, that the fat mess gets the bullet, before Digne gets sold and the new manager, keeps hold of him.

Who has Digne had his character assasinated by? Benitez? He's actually said nothing much. Lots of speculation.

Digne probably is well served keeping his trap shut.

Digne hasn`t said a dicky bird, it`s your messiah that`s done all the gobbing off.

Fat waste of space that he is.
