I am not putting Digne in the same category as Lescott, but the last thing we need is a player on the pitch who doesn't give one.
If that is indeed the case.

Even with a new manger tomorrow, I think he will still go.
If Benitez went today, Digne would probably be happy to stay. But the club have spent £17m on his replacement and £11m on a right-back (with 15 senior starts) and aren't really in a position to not have money come in this month. Digne is the most sellable asset given we have his replacement in already.

Had this been handled well, he'd still have been playing and Everton would have bargaining power. They'd also have time to phase Mykolenko in, even if that was over the course of this month in which we'll play 5 games.

Yep, all positive stuff in those stats, Benitez truly is the hero we all need.
I did some research for a pod appearance yesterday. Did stats up to and including the Norwich game (so that's including two wins). We're basically in the 5 worst teams in the league for every single category, defensively and offensively, since then.

That was to be 'kind' as it included the Norwich win and the Man Utd draw. I'll check out what the stats are like from when our awful run actually started which was against West Ham.

Could you post them up mate, so the Benitez fan club can invent some new excuses for the worst manager in the clubs history ?

And people are defending this.

It's utter madness.

Incredible that.

Defend that you absolute cranks.

Still, if you are more arsed about how Liverpool are getting on, then I suppose none of this will really matter.

If that is the case though, would you kindly pipe down and stop infesting GOT with pages and pages of bile? Some of us Evertonians are actually concerned about the way the club is going and not just trying to look edgy on the internet.

@ForeverBlue92 , @davek , @Saint Domingo - there's others but I know you guys are the ones I've debated with the most.

Taking on board the caveats of injuries (which we did have before October 17th but the bad run of them started then), and these players having an ability to bottle things, can you please, please tell me why, based on the above, it is worth sticking with/risking sticking with this man, and why we should back him?

And, that reasoning can't be that just because our crackpot owner has chosen to do so, we should get behind the bloke.

He's a successful manager
He's as good as we can expect to get right now given all the circumstances
We need an iconoclast to get stuck into this dysfunctional club at all levels and strip it right down to what's salvagable and what has to go.
