That's pretty blatant fiction you're trafficking, Digne for over 3 years has been hailed by everyone surrounding the club as nothing but a consummate professional. Even at Barcelona where he was a peripheral figure was he never reported as sulking. You can question his form but hes been established as a pretty decent human being , look at the terrorist incident in Spain during his time at Barca. where he provided CPR and water for some of the victims. Even after Digne was pulled from the team, he even put out a diplomatic post on Instagram rather than a scathing rebuke. Benitez on the other hand is known for being bullish , abrasive and an egomaniac who routinely generates rifts with players

Really not sure how you can disagree with anything he’s said.
He’s hit the nail on the head if you read between the lines. Some players were putting themselves before the team, some players don’t really want to be here. He’s making decisions for the long term good of the club to instill a better mentality not to just do what’s been done before and finish a couple of places higher this season.
It’s patently obvious from what he’s saying that he hasn’t had the options in the squad to play exactly how he wants, and he’s had issues to solve. Everyone recognised this in previous seasons but as soon as Benitez was through the door there was a collective amnesia about how poor the squad was.
Carry on Benitez, drain the swamp.
