I’m sure that lot didn’t give a toss that Gerrard, Fowler, Owen, McManaman and Carragher were blues when they were picking up pots for them.
Right now, Benitez has had a good start, but that’s all. However, if he wins us a pot and gets us qualifying for Europe each year again he will have been our best manager I was old enough to watch in my lifetime (Kendall 2 and 3 don’t count as Kendall 1). It’s that simple for me.
