That was strange admittedly but Rondon was cooked and Simms clearly isn’t ready. State of our squad will result in many a performance like this!

If he isn't ready to come on for 30 mins why is he on the bench? If your only attacking option on the bench isn't ready then that's down to benitez for putting him on the bench as well

I'm sure Dobbin or someone would have been fit enough to come on

This waster James bailed out of our last 2 games last season despite not even being injured or suspended. Wanting to protect himself for the Copa America he didn't even end up being picked for.

I do find it cringeworthy that some posters almost worship this manager to the point when everything good is down to him.

He might manage the team but ultimately we comment on performance of the team. Let’s not put Benitez on a pedestal.
