If he goes wonderful. I can only see Ferguson taking over as interim which is not ideal but I imagine the morale of the squad will increase immediately, maybe only temporarily given that we have a few wastes of space in the squad, but maybe long enough to stave off relegation
Dunc will be up for it no doubt, Id much happier with Dunc in charge than anyone else atm.

It was obvious to anyone who paid vague attention to general football over the last 10 years that his tactics and management style don't work anymore and are getting worse.

It was obvious to anyone that he was an excuse merchant and pretty despicable human being who only won the Geordies over by his constant bickering about ownership.

It was obvious that it was an awful fit.

I've actually been quite enjoying the fact that I've just not really cared much about the club this season thanks to having this waster in charge. Nowhere near so bothered about losses, it's been fairly cathartic.

However it's now at the point that relegation is a real issue, especially when you look at the fixture list. He has to go NOW or the upcoming "easier" games can be written off as "expected losses" along with all the tougher games following them. As much as I had made myself numb to the thought of having this ego driven dictator in charge I really really really don't want to see him inflict long term damage here. So I guess I'll just having to resign myself to properly caring about the club again.

On the positive side I genuinely can't think of any other manager that would be a worse fit for us so maybe we have actually scraped the barrel this time!

There is no cohesion mate. If you look it we look to Gray constantly and at times Gordon, diagonals left and right. Over reliant on individual brilliance to get anything and more often than not we are chasing games.

Look at Richarlison today, brilliant goal, individualism and excuse the pun “out of the blue” stuff. The only time we played well first and second half this season was Brighton away. Far too many occasions we are chasing games and relying on individuals to as I said , do something “out of the blue”: teams like the that go nowhere.

You do know he never, never takes responsibility. He's blaming 5 years ago for having worse results than all managers in the last five years...he will not put his hands up and say he's not the right man for the job. Big pay out coming his way

My concern is that he wouldn't say this unless

1. He had already convinced Moshiri of the same
or
2. He's looking to get fired

As it has to be a dig at the general management of the club since Moshiri's takover. I suspect from the fact Brands went and from the signings that he has Moshiri's ear.
