Ok just from your earlier post it seemed to suggest they might leave it as late as midweek on the grounds the next match was a week away. Which they would never do.
No no - I wasn't saying/implying that. Not at all. 100% an annoucement sometime Monday at the absolute latest if the trigger has indeed been pulled.

It's very possible the board/execs/lawyers and Rafael met tomorrow, got all the T's crossed and I's dotted etc, then we'll have the annoucement straight after; with Dunc & co taking training on Monday. That's my guess.

Moyes has a clause in his Man U contract that it was entitled to hardly anything if he was sacked within the first 12 months.. why that was not put into Rafael contract I have no idea , a manager that half the fans hate that was coming from China ? Why wouldn’t you put one in

That would be what a competent board would do...but then a competent board wouldn't of hired a manager that the entire fan base hate and has taken every team hes been in charge of for more then the last decade backwards.

Who would you believe out of the two?
I'm not sure it's a question of 'believe' - we all know the writing has been on the wall for Rafael for a long time. Surely Digne could have sat tight for a week or two, perhaps even half a season if needs be, then move if Rafael was still here (it's not like his contract was running out).

I don't doubt Digne was happy until Jaffa alienated him, but I also don't buy the idea his heart was for EFC and no one else. He's a French professional footballer. If it had of worked out at Lille, or Roma or Barca, he wouldn't be here. I'm not criticizing him, just trying to see it for what it really is/was/might be.

He was not to know FSW may be given the push within days.

Because before this afternoon Benitez had full control of the club's affairs. Was he supposed to know the future?
If Digne was utterly oblivious to the fact that the writing was on the wall for Rafael and the next couple of games could decide his fate, then I don't know what to tell ya.

It's not like the transfer window was closing in 2 days. Could he really not have sat tight for a week or two, then made the decison?!?
