If you where an Everton supporter then you'd know that there was no project underway with the poisonous rat Benitez here. You'd know that our whole season and any potential rebuilding was on hold until he was gone. You don't know these things because you aren't an Evertonian, so the only thing that's "strange" about this convention is the fact that you felt that it needed your input at all.........

You don't get an infinite amount of time to rebuild everything. You have to win football matches...at least a couple in a few months - you don't deal with an unbalanced team by unbalancing it even more by playing people out of position and players that shouldn't even get a game for the dog and duck pub team.

The results killed him. They would have - and should have - killed any manager, so he can't really argue with getting the bullet having lost at QPR and Norwich, at home to Brighton and been hammered 5-2 at Goodison by Watford.
