If I were an everton supporter I'd be disappointed yet another project went up in flames
If you where an Everton supporter then you'd know that there was no project underway with the poisonous rat Benitez here. You'd know that our whole season and any potential rebuilding was on hold until he was gone. You don't know these things because you aren't an Evertonian, so the only thing that's "strange" about this convention is the fact that you felt that it needed your input at all.........

He's taking it well...

You don't get an infinite amount of time to rebuild everything. You have to win football matches...at least a couple in a few months - you don't deal with an unbalanced team by unbalancing it even more by playing people out of position and players that shouldn't even get a game for the dog and duck pub team.

File under another complete Spanish whopper.

They soon turned...

He bought Mascherano, Alonso and Torres in the first place.
And the implosion is a myth. He won all games after that famous rant, including 1-4 at Old Trafford. Benitez never had the luxury of having the same spending power of Chelsea, Arsenal and man utd. He made them relevant again...

Just compare him to Houllier and Roy Hodgson.
I'm not an rs fan unlike you, so i honestly couldn't care less tbh.

The results killed him. They would have - and should have - killed any manager, so he can't really argue with getting the bullet having lost at QPR and Norwich, at home to Brighton and been hammered 5-2 at Goodison by Watford. I hoped he'd get enough good results to purge the club, so a part of me worries that we are back at square one now with the Iwobis and Keanes given another chance and a sentimental managerial choice all set to take us into the Championship.
