We're on course for 76 points, that would of got Everton second last season and most seasons top 3, I'll have a bit of that. He's done a great job so far as much as it pains me to admit it.

Against Norwich? No. I have higher aspirations. You going to be singing the praises of Rafael with the Evertonians if we win next week?
You really only deal in extremes, don't you? You can like Potter and Benitez. You can like Potter without thinking he's Guardiola. You can acknowledge that we've spent less than Brighton this season but also acknowledge that we had different squads to begin with.Doesn't matter what Morgan Schneiderlin and Gyfi Siggurdsson cost they aint in the squad.
We spent the 20th lowest amount in the summer, have a manager who's "crap" and is a "dinosaur" & 7 players injured 5 games in with awful recruitment.
Meanwhile Brighton have a top class manager and awesome recruitment.
If Brighton finish below us then that puts the Potterball myth to bed once and for all.
By whom? What are you even going on about? The gauntlet has been thrown down to Potterball lets see if he can finish above the hapless Benitez and Everton.
Not unless we beat Norwich you won't. All games need winning and as we have injuries and a thin squad, nothing is a givenAgainst Norwich? No. I have higher aspirations.

Yes, I said that in this exact conversation. We need to be beating Norwich and sides better than Norwich (which is every other side in the division, btw)Not unless we beat Norwich you won't. All games need winning and as we have injuries and a thin squad, nothing is a given
I'm sure Potter has taken notice!By me.
Those thinking Potterball is the answer - if he hasn't finished above us in 2 and a half seasons then he's obviously not the answer.
Lets see if he can manage it - we're managed by a dinosaur it shouldn't be too hard.
I admire your faith in Benitez. I hope to get thier with you. I've pics on my wall and write poetry about him. But you are a true believer. Such high aspirations. It's beautiful to see.Against Norwich? No. I have higher aspirations.
He’s had a good start but he won’t keep up this form. That’s not a dig at him but we haven’t played any of the top 6 yet. 12 games totalling 36 points. Even if the first 11 plus 3/4 other players in the squad we rotate in are in form that’s a big ask. We're on course for 76 points, that would of got Everton second last season and most seasons top 3, I'll have a bit of that.
You can travel long distances to play minor clubs. No thanks.
Against Norwich? No. I have higher aspirations.
That is a brilliant summary of it. Benitez just means we tread water until he gets sacked. Potter has a higher ceiling and is a far more progressive manager. The game v villa hasnt changed my mood. I think benitez is steady enough.
Potters got bags of scope though imo. Just not fashionable.
