After six premiership games, the team's points have exceeded my expectations and I'm pleased about that. I'll also concede that the new signings Gray and Townsend have brought a welcome drive and energy to the side. It's still very early days and I won't let my prejudices against the manager stop me from saying it's been a decent start albeit against a helpful set of fixtures.

Let's see how things go once Seamus/DCL and Richie back and we face stiffer opposition.
