I think the actuality is somewhere in between. We certainly don’t have a L1 squad imo and I’m behind Benitez.

And with the wonderful 20/20 vision of hindsight, Carlo wasn’t really all that, was he?

You will struggle to find somebody who thinks Carlo did a good job.

But facts are facts, we won 3 of our last 10 games and finished 8 points off 4th, if we would have beat Chelsea that means we would have only had to got better results in 2 other games.

Yeah, if my Auntie had balls, but people only want to see 10th and ignore the facts.

We were dreadful , no excuses but Palace was giving away a stupid late goal and spurs did we not gift them the goals with very Everton mistakes ? As I say we were rubbish but it’s still thin margins , that Burnley game was up there with Fulham and city away for just being dire.

As you say fine margins, but we finished 10th, so everybody forgets that.
