I get why people want to know things but ultimately he's done what Biesla did with Philip's yesterday and gave a vague answer to have us second guessing.

You also dont know if he means due to isolation he may not be fully upto speed in terms of training.

As far as I know it is now up to the players if they want to give more details about Covid as a privacy issue. That's what I heard anyway. Also like you say, why give the game away too much. Philips playing or not playing will affect our game plan and no doubt it is the same the other way round

…I don’t quite understand the ‘backing him’ point, Matey. A few have mentioned this but I’m not sure I back any manager. I judge them on what they do, I like some more than others.

I do back Everton, though. I want Everton to win regardless of who’s in charge. I’m not berating Benitez, I’m on record as saying I accept he’s our Manager & I wouldn’t be surprised if he does a decent job. I feel a bit uneasy seeing him at our club & I don’t think he should’ve been appointed.

Any Manager for us has a tough job on this season , that's why Carlo deserted us, horrible football in the last twelve games was spineless, boring, plus relegation football........not many haters on here about him .......he did worse than Fat Sam .......two places lower......

You're right, it may have something to do with the press conferences being on Zoom now. A journalist may be allocated 10 managers press conferences to attend via zoom so will more than likely prioritise City, RS, utd etc for follow up questions.

Yeah true...if its to avoid clarifying he doesn't want James, then its worthwhile avoiding publicly saying it incase he doesn't leave next week....thats a difficult situation....like its pretty obvious whats going on, but saying it on tv creates a bigger story
