What's baffling to me is despite how woeful the last season transpired, set pieces were a very strong aspect of Everton's game, on both ends. So they're capable of being competent on that facet , but now we've suddenly regressed to Martinez/Silva levels of set piece dysfunction.

He’s truly one of the worst players to ever pull on a blue shirt.

And don’t try and say he needs game time to get fit, as he doesn’t, he just proper garbage.

Rondon definitely isn’t good enough and never will be seeing as he’s 32, at least the young player has the scope to get better. Complete nonsense continuing to start Rondon.

Haven’t seen enough of Dobbin myself to judge tbf but at least you’d hope for a bit of energy and movement from a youngster and give their CBs something different to figure out in the dying minutes when we are needing an equalizer.

The manager dropped a bollock today in starting Iwobi over Gordon who was pacey, direct and purposeful for much of the game away at Man Utd, everything that Iwobi has never ever offered a glimpse of bar 1 game at Fulham as a wing back. The decision was compounded by leaving Iwobi on for 80 baffling minutes doing his best to look like someone who has won a competition to play at Goodison. Far more positives than negatives this season for the manager but today was uninspiring.

How exactly could a keen, pacey youngster have offered less than Rondon today? at least the 2 West Ham centre backs would of had to take it in turns on their reclining chairs

I fully appreciate that, but we do have a couple of young lads who play up front, how about giving one of them a go, could they do any worse.

Even Mina would do a better job, his presence would at least unsettle defenders. Which is 100% more than this sack of turd does.

99.99% of players who play in the premiership are better than iwobi.

You just don't want to admit it because you'll have to then say beneitez something wrong in playing him

So 3 managers have picked Iwobi over Gordon (Ancelotti, Benitez & Silva) two of those have won 4x Champions Leagues between them.

But yes Everton fans on social media know better lol
