I referenced your viewpoint on Ross Barkley a few weeks back and you got all defensive and used the fact that it was 2 years ago as a defence.

You clearly spend so much time on here whining and trying to be edgy that you forget some of the gash that you write lol
That Ross Barkley fella....whatever happened to him?

Sack him 1 nil down to Southampton.

He’s on the way out isn’t he?

Carlos team only needed a rb to be in Europe. Benitez has same squad with his own signings beating crap like Southampton at home should be a given.

We'd need to be getting 3 mate - they don't come much easier than a toothless Southampton at home with a full house.

Good showing in the second half following a wretched showing in the first. I'm chuffed with the result but it's going to take a lot more than a 3-1 win at home against Southampton to get me heaping praise on either the manager or the players. Positive start, now let's see if we can build on it. UTFT!

Jesus, why are you now banging on about people being insecure in every thread?

It's one game. Of which, we looked pretty shaky in one half, and it took a player who he hasn't coached yet to drag us out of it. At home, to a Southampton side who have sold half the backline and their striker. It's a good start to get 3 points, but he has a long way to go yet.

I take nothing away from him for yesterday, he desperately needed to get off to a winning start, and he did. I was delighted we got the win, but, it will take a lot more than this to convince me he is a good appointment. The first half was very poor, against a team that have the look of a relegation outfit about them. The second half was a huge improvement and fair play to him, it may well have been down to his small positional tweaks at half time or, of course, it could have been down to a great motivational halftime team talk, however, it might equally be down to the fact that we scored just after the break and a seriously crap Southampton fell apart.

He has been lucky with our early fixtures, they may well get him enough points on the board to earn a little breathing space, but, realistically he is still 2 or 3 poor performances away from trouble, the fans will not stick behind a struggling Benitez I fear and that is the main reason I am against this appointment. I may well have this wrong and, in some ways, I hope I have. Only time will tell

The difference between Everton and Southampton yesterday was Richarlison & Doucoure
at this point a new manager was a spectator the season is long we shall see

We only beat Southampton at home and there's Blues banging on like we've won a trophy

Long way to go before he's excepted here

Some fans on here have absolutely no self-control or perspective at all do they? Its either people saying that Benitez is an utterly irredeemable POS that they want to see fail and will never support under any set of circumstances at all. Or others claiming that he's some sort of genius and savior because we've won 3-1 at home to a Southampton side that's been utterly ravaged this summer, will most likely be involved in a relegation battle this season and weren't even that good before they lost their best players anyway! Kin' hell and I thought that I chatted wham online, some people on here are on a whole different level.......

Why would I want us to lose? I just find it laughable that you think people were going round thanking Mr Benitez for helping us beat the mighty Southampton

......... Southampton doh

......... Southampton doh
Yeah, its still gonna take more then a 3-1 against Southampton to get me heaping praise on anyone. I haven't totally abandoned all my standards just yet thanks. Good for them getting a 1-1 draw at home to Man Utd and all that but they're still just Southampton and beating them isn't an achievement. Especially early doors when they could still very easily fall apart.

You need to get out more if this is what you are spending your weekends doing, trying to prove you are right and trying make other people feel bad.
Literally worked 26 hours this weekend on emergency job a cause a pipe exploded in a major shopping centre. That vault was nothing.

Love the cleche 'haven't you anything better to do' when you get shocked by HIGH VAULTAGE
