Suspended sentence, the article says. Or the original Daily Mail article does, anyway. Convicted. You should read these things before you post them, Nik. I don't agree with the judge's reasoning, but it's not evidence of a two-tier system.

Yeah he was convicted but let off with a suspended sentence. FOR RAPING A 13 YEAR OLD. The reason for this was that he was ignorant of British law and was taught that women are worthless. Why are intent on defending them? LOTS of Muslims are taught this, especially from outside the country. Oh and btw there's a sharia law demonstration lead by Mr. Chaudrey outside one of London's major mosques today, on a separate note.

I wouldn't be surprised if Stephen has had threats made against his family. Doesn't make it OK, I actually feel a bit sorry for the guy, he's way out of his depth, but it's hardly surprising. 5% of the population is bound to have some nutters among it. Normally, threatening a section of society with violence like that would get you in quite a bit of bother with the police. Not our Tommeh. He also broke his bail conditions numerous times. He can be seen on youtube appearing at an EDL demo dressed as a Rabbi when on bail, the conditions of which were that he not appear at EDL events. Normally, breaking bail conditions lands you in custody. Not our Tommeh. One might even think that there was a two-tier system in favour of him, given the evidence.

No, the reason the judge gave a suspended sentence is because the judge deemed Rashid "naïve and immature" and because he believed that the girl was a willing participant. Not because he was a muslim. I don't agree with the reasoning, but there is no evidence of a two-tier system there. Read the article properly without foaming at the mouth. Rape sentencing is often far too lenient, for myriad reasons.

On a lighter note, I bought some tabbouleh from a delightful muslim girl about an hour ago. She smiled and I instinctively glanced down at her tshirt and could definitely see nipp - it could have been the air conditioning but I like to think it was excitement.
 
This is just one case of one of them getting of lightly. And for such a small population they really do make up a disproportionate amount of gang related grooming. As I say, leading members of the Islamic community have eventually come out and admitted that there was a problem so at least they are looking to do something about it. The code of silence is what pissed most people but at least they are speaking out now. Still a LONG way to go before that religion can intergrate itself peacefully.

And that he wasn't aware of British law. DUE TO THE FACT THAT IN ISLAM AND WHEREVER HES FROM ITS PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE TO HAVE SEX WITH A 13 YEAR OLD. How can you not see how the influx of people coming over from places like Pakistan with that mindset as detrimental?

If Muslims were planting bombs at churches, there would be chaos on the streets. Funny how when a bomb is planted at a mosque, it is not described as a terrorist attack by a lot of the media.

Its being called a terrorist attack everywhere. And you don't know whos responsible. So lets just wait and see.
