In genuine pain that you hide, delete and lock my threads yet casually pump out utter tripe like this. I hope your forum/jigsaw emporium dies because of how I’ve been treated.

RISE UP.

Take a bow son, funniest post of the day

Predator was much better, looking back though I’m fairly sure the main reason I enjoyed either of them was because I was a kid who literally just watched 18 films because I wasn’t meant to. I have absolutely no desire to go back and watch any 80s action films despite smashing them all when I was a kid.

We comparing (a) First Blood or Rambo: First Blood 2 to Predator as stand alone movies, or (b) John Rambo compared to the alien species colloquially known as Predator(s), or (c) the entire franchises of each character?
For me
(a) Predator > First Blood (just)
(b) Predator batters John Rambo all over the show, and Colonel Trautman would get his spine ripped out while he’s at it
(c) Rambo franchise > Predator franchise.

Predator is far superior to Rambo, better location, acting and story…..
Acting? Nah, First Blood is a better story and acting. I just prefer to watch Predator though. The rest of the Rambo series though.....story, acting, locations, scripts, enemies.....all crap.

First Blood is a better movie on paper, but I would watch Predator any day of the week.

There`s so many things that make Predator such a good film, but one of the main things for me is the cast and the ad libbing.

By design or by default, the cast is perfect and they all look they`re having a ball making the film, plus some of the one liners in it are just hilarious.

Whether this was meant to be the case or not, it just makes the film so enjoyable and a film, you can just watch time and time again.
