Pretty much this, i think a lot are being negative because we are all wound up about the Stones situation and general lack of spending. If we had bought a decent name player by now this would be simply another signing and pass by without as much scrutiny.

You might think it a crap South American league but I watch a little, especially the internationals - those matches are blood baths. I think they make some Premier League teams look like waltzes. If you can hold your own those matches, you'll be fine in the Premier League from a physical standpoint. Just sign him up FFS.

I'd go through and make a list of all of the defenders that have come from outside a Big 5 league that have "excelled in the Premiership" but.... CBA.
You and I both know that plenty of defenders have come all over the place. If Geoff Cameron from the defensive embarrassment of MLS can make it in the Prem, I think Funes Mori will be fine.
