I thought he was ball watching for the cross that eventually led to the Brazilian goal and then didn't react quick enough to close down the shot that Brazil scored from.
If he's got MOTM, that's great, and just shows what a bargain we may have on our hands. The bonus will be if he does get a retrospective ban he'll be less time playing for his country and more time over here.
Good luck to you. Argentina have always been my South American national team...although my only concern over Mori is that he arrives back here fit and in one piece to play for Everton! The ratings on La Nación the equivalent of the times saw Ramiro get 7 the same as Otamendi,Biglia and Lavezzi but one behind Di Maria with 8
Ole the popular sports daily gave him top rating with Di Maria on 7.
Both newspapers are traditionally very critical and seven is seen as a very high level. The hinchas were happy at half time but the team left at the end to an air of indifference.Tuesdays game in Barranquilla will be massive for the selección and huge experience for Funes Morí.

I think you guys should be like the River fans and call him Ramiro as nobody calls him Morí in Argentina. I understand about your concern about the player returning fit to play as River is in the same boat with many players.Nevertheless the game on Tuesday night will bring huge pressure and add to his experience. Along with his ability to speak English the fact that having played for such a demanding club and country makes the pressure in England easier for him.
Teo Gutierrez would not break the skin of a boiled [Poor language removed]Ramiro did well but we failed again.Martino will be in danger of being sacked if we lose to Colombia on Tuesday in Barranquilla where el Mellizo will be facing his old teammate Teo Gutierrez current South American player of the year.
At the Luis Suarez testimonial in Anfield?Wouldnt mind seeing him do one of them in the derby on the sly. Love a bit of snide in a player
Thanks

Is Ramiro now considered "first choice" central defender for Argentina?
Has there been any media attention on Everton in Argentina since he joined us?
Fixed. Apparently we're not interested in Messi , but are in this guy who played alongside Ramiro the other night. Pre contract deal January should sort it.Ok Ramiro, start telling your mates what a boss place Everton is, starting with Ever Banega.

"Elsewhere this morning, Everton have been linked with a free transfer for Argentina midfielder Ever Banega.
Banega has been linked with the Toffees in the past, and today it's claimed that the Blues could make a move when his contract at Sevilla expires this summer.
