FM played well last night but was not Argentinas best player.

Otamendi was immense last night. mom here by general consensus.

Messi was good too although he was often quadruple marked and the Chileans kicked the living lard out of him.

Aranguiz and Vidal ran the show in the middle for the Chileans. The first lad would be a useful addition.

That's ridiculous. He's going to have been playing competitive football all summer and will even miss the first few games. If I was Koeman I would be blocking the call up.

Aye I meant not playing as in hope he's just their for an experienced "senior" player. He'll be knackered all preseason otherwise.

He's not going to the Olympics. That's an old list, many of those players were blocked by their teams (say Dybala, Kranevitter, Batalla, Paredes, Pavon, etc).

The Echo have written an article based on that photo so it'll be interesting to see what happens.
