Koeman was a freak, world-class, legend of the game. Baines IS/WAS a goalscoring left-back whether you said it or not. He is/was a threat, free-kicks, long-range, penalties. Steve Bruce was known as a goal-scoring centre back and Mori's goal record is on a par with his to date. Mori is a goal-scoring defender. The free-kick and long-range effort shown in the video I posted above show that. He is a threat from set-pieces and you're being overly harsh on him due to bloody squawka! The whole team was a mess in Martinez's last two seasons, no need to single out Mori imo. I personally am glad we have him.
1-0 @mixed_up fam

We'll get something like £18m+ if we sell him easily, (which I hope we don't) so don't worry about 'any fee'!. I would also like to see a link of that stat if you don't mind. Not because I am doubting you but I am sure I can prove how players rated more highly have a similar tackling ratio for 2016/17. (from the same link you give)

Jagielka started 25 games in the league (good stats despite lots of 'get rid' comments!) but Mori only started 16. Mori was out of the team far more than Jagielka. He didn't start a match between 20th august and 30th October for example, so stats aren't everything and don't show certain realities. He obviously went in for a lot more tackles than others did, fair play to him. Tackles per game, would be the interesting statistic, and Mori would not look so bad then, nor out of place. At least he's going in for tackles.

What sort of fee would you accept for Mori ? I know you said any fee but realistically?

Any fee.

Anything above 1m would feel like robbery to me.

Let's be honest mate you've just plucked that figure out of thin air with nothing to support it at all, he's never been linked with a move for anywhere near that amount. We paid £10m for him and he looks a worse player now than when we bought him.

Can never understand when people jump on the likes of McCarthy, Barry... even Baines and Williams..... when we have this utter cart horse playing for us.
He's absolutely dreadful. One of the few blotches on Roberto's copy book.

To be fair, he's also been shifted around a lot, at the start of the season we were switching from 3 at the back, to a back 4 during the game and he was being moved around, which is tough when you are carrying Williams
