Mori to be sold and Pennington out on loan. If that happened I'd still buy another centre half and maybe release jagielka.

Lots of games next season mate. Not sure 4 CBs would be enough to provide injury cover too. Mori would be the obvious one to go as we'd get a decent fee for him. Should we allow Jags to go to get game time I'd probably keep hold of Pennington, although we do of course still have Galloway and Browning in the background.

We have a lot of ground to make up to challenge top 4 and you can guarantee those above us will also be looking to improve their squads. If we are to mount a serious challenge I reckon we will need to bring in a second centre back, which is why I'd sacrifice Mori.

I do like the lads attitude though and if he could sort out his concentration issues he would be worth keeping hold of. Problem is if he doesn't, and he starts getting punished for his mistakes, his stock will fall through the floor and we'd miss our opportunity to cash in on him.

With Europa on the horizon, I don't see us clearing house. My biggest question is- who will alternate with Baines at LB? I reckon we might see Brendan quite a bit.

I remember because I was mentioning these links a lot and getting pilloried for it, because all players from Scotland are "rubbish"

Ironically, it was thanks to playing in Scotland that VVD adapted so well to the English game where Funes Mori hasn't, because the Argentinian League is a different style of football
