Stinks of Ever Banega this. He's Argentinian aswell.
hmmm, not really mate.. Banega had rejected us for a start anyway, and we hadn't agreed a fee.. where as mori seems to have agreed his terms and contract ona 5 year deal and we're either waiting to see how we pay them, his medical.. or paperwork.

Pretty sure a work permit was refused for him?

no mate, not that i remember.

Think thats what everyone at the time thought but came out few weeks later he had zero interest in joining us, and we couldn't even agree a fee in the first place.

Chances are we applied for a work permit at the start of the deal, just incase it happened, and then dropped it when it was clear he didnt fancy it

He had his first work permit application rejected, now trying to get one on exceptional talent ruling that is expected to be accepted.

Tim Vickery was on Talksport this afternoon talking about Mori and fernandez and he said he doesn't think more will be good enough and that its a huge step up for fernandez.

We're just waiting for the perfect timing. Stones will leave and as he leaves Finch Farm we'll have Mori standing there grinning with his 5 year contract.

It'll be like no one left.

He's absolutely pap man, all the top South American players and Martinez picks up the gash brigade of Boselli, Alcaraz and espinoza, this guy's £6 million thrown down the drain but oh well he'll do a fist pump and take a pepper spraying from a Kopite like a champ.

Why is it that we never give players a chance before slating them.

The same bloke said this while listing his signings of the summer in 2010

Cristian Riveros: Cruz Azul to Sunderland. One of the stars of the World Cup for Paraguay, Riveros put pen to paper before flying out to South Africa and Steve Bruce will be very pleased with what he saw from his new signing. A versatile midfielder with plenty of stamina, Riveros proved himself to be a jack of all trades as he ticked the boxes for his country in midfield and looks well prepared to make an impact in England.
