Moving house and will be without phone/internet for the next day or two. Timing couldn't have been any better, will prevent me from being in this thread hitting the refresh button every 30 seconds until the deadline closes

I'm sure there was another with him with an everton shirt and/or scarf on board.

But you have put both neignbours on red alert.o_O

I'm not at all concerned. Having done the FFP calculations and the DWP/HO calculations I am sure he'll get a work permit.

Are you?

1)He has played one international friendly for Argentina . He didn't make their Copa America squad which was picked after his one game for the national team. He is no where near the threshold that needs to be meet automatic qualification

2) The next possibility of being awarded a WP is through a points based test. That's an extremely complex process and to even attempt it you would have to know his wage, the transfer fee, the wages paid to the top 30 earners at all PL clubs & the value of transfer fees paid during the last two transfer windows at PL clubs.

To stand a chance his transfer fee would have to be at least 50% of the value of the average fees paid for PL players during the last two windows and or his wage will be above 50% of PL players wages.

Even if he gets allocated enough points there is still no guarantee that a WP will be granted as the panel has to take a view .

Hello Mick, you ok pal. This kid will sign but, and it's a BIG BUT, he will not be up to scratch for some weeks as we play at a substantially higher tempo than they do in S America. I C is hugely important and cannot be taken as a simple formality as it used to be, UK jobs and standards all will be taken into account. That said the PL will give leeway for this element as it is outside the jurisdiction of all parties concerned.

WHOA, Monty! Where you been, lar? Welcome back! ;)

I know that's what he said but on the Everton site they confirm the signing of Rodriguez and indeed he has been allocated a squad number but at this point in time other than RMs comments there hasn't been any official confirmation

You mean Mori has already been allocated a squad number?
