I’m adding Tommy Ring, only one season but the memories are strong, even better Johnnie Morrissey what a footballer and fighter and lasted a few seasons and like Sheedy had to leave Liverpool to get first team football.

My older brother stated if Tommy Ring had not had his leg broken in two places in a game away at Chelsea - we may have not signed Johnny Morrissey - he was that good ....

Leighton Baines, certainly the best of the modern day era! Remember when we got a free kick, I’d almost expect a goal or clattering of a goal post.

If we are talking about only the left foot, then Bily. Some of the goals he scored were outrageous, Portsmouth and United spring to mind. The rest of his body was a shambles though.
