Keep checking that link but I'd say more likely 2 or 3 weeks before the game, i.e. late Jan/early Feb.
One last thing have you been to Young Boys stadium? Will it be easily to get tickets in the home end?

@bluegirl
relax. take the train, enjoy the scenic route, the lovely city of bern and the game.
it's well spent money
@Shab
bern is very close to the bernese alps (what a surprise).
i can highly recommend the skiing areas of gstaad, wengen and grindelwald.
and btw. there is of course a direct connection between geneva and bern. here's a link to the map of the swiss railway system

it's a pleasure to have the other part of liverpool over here soon.
Are the ticket inspectors on the ball on these trains, I might just get on and see what happens, we bought train tickets from hannover to wolfsburg which didn't get checked in either direction.
Switzerland too expensive for skiing, take a look at Austria, much cheaper, nicer people.Thanks for that. This year was Chamonix, so I think its only right that we have a look into Switzerland next year

£6 a pint isn't horrific. Pretty standard to pay £5+ a pint in any of the city boozers these days.Definitely the most expensive part of the trip then! Cheers mate much appreciated
Right I've worked out the cheapest way is to get the Eurostar from London to Bern which takes 8 hours, stay two nights in a hotel, go back on the Friday comes out at £267 which is cheaper than flying and staying one night with the £75 train fare from Geneva.
SO EXPENSIVE
But definitely no way you can get this price out on Thursday back on Friday ?Return London flights to basel is about £120
hint
milan has a direct train to bern. the airport is badly connected to the public transport system though.
just sayin
