If we can come away from Switzerland with a draw or even a 1-0 loss I'd fancy us to go through, but we've got to be careful.

Berne's an hour on the train from Basel.

Is right. Celtic will be gutted drawing Inter.

I actually think Celtic will be happy with that draw. They tend to up their game against bigger teams. Its their only hope of a glamour tie that creates a better atmosphere.

This is Everton though so we will probably get Roma in the next round, then Villareal in the QF, then Sevilla in the semi. We will beat all of them and then lose to Guingamp in the final.

Can't grumble with that draw at all, although I don't know a great deal about them. Anyone know how they played in the groups? Obviously they did alright to get this far, but was their group hard?

Quick look at flights .. Dublin to Basel on the wednesday, back sat. €80 (obv return to dub & train to bern not included there)

From Manchester - Already 180 one way on the wednesday to basel, 244 back on fri. 126 back on sat.

I live over here. Best ways to get to (northern) Switzerland are Swiss flights from Manchester to Zurich, or EasyJet from Manchester to Basel. There's nothing to Zurich from Liverpool, although you can fly to Geneva from Liverpool with EasyJet, which I guess will be a popular route. Bern is smack bang in the middle of the country, so you're an hour away from Basel and Zurich on the train, a bit longer from Geneva.
