I'm going from there, I got a one way to Dublin for a fiver from Liverpool, then £25 one way to Basel. Problem is the return is sold out. It doesn't really matter though there's a few ways of getting back by flying to another major city then back to Manchester or Liverpool both ways are around £80 and I want to try and get it for around £60 by waiting for airline ticket prices to drop so that it all comes to under £100

We've booked Ryanair Liverpool to Dublin £19.99 each way leave Wednesday 06.30 arrive 07.35 then swiss air booked through travel up at 11.30 arrive 14.35 for £120 return so £160 all in and no southern airports so happy with that

I go from Liverpool to Dublin at 08:00 am till 09:00 then at 13:10 fly to Basel get there for 16:10. next cheapest ticket on sky scanner is £140. there are a few other ways of getting back though we will just have to fly to a different airport e.g. Basel to Amsterdam then back to Manchester.

most frustrating is sky scanner says there's a ticket for £50 from Basel but it's sold out as it only has one ticket left so it still displays it even when I put 2 passengers.

Airline prices will never drop, they only get more expensive as more seats are sold.

True, but it's like travelling to southampton to go to London, Stuttgart is closer than munich, may aswell get off at Stuttgart.

More of an adventure than the shitty official which i have done in the past..

Also in terms of cost. A beer will cost you around £4-6, I have seen tweets stating £15 a pint. I have had a look online at various different pub/bars menu's in basel and bern.
