The tickets we returned to Chelsea were on sale last Monday 2nd feb to there members so we must of sent them back before the 2nd febWe took 3,000 tickets off Chelsea and the OS says the game is sold out so I'm not sure where you got your information from.

what happened to the mighty Young Boys at the weekend?
That must be unprecedented to be returning tickets over a week before a game. I can only presume that we were given the option of returning some of them without penalty so long as they were returned this far in advance -- and as usual we panicked and returned the 800 or so and now find ourselves without tickets for interested fans since we've been sold out of the 2,200 since last week. The tickets we returned to Chelsea were on sale last Monday 2nd feb to there members so we must of sent them back before the 2nd feb

Due to some tickets being returned for this game from Everton we will be going back on sale as follows:
Monday 2 February: Members who have not purchased a ticket can buy one per person.
They were on sale for less than 10 days if they were returned on 1st Feb, instead of the normal 3 weeks (s.t. being sold out earlier of course). No indication was given on the OS that you had to buy before Feb 1st.They were on general sale for ages, so the chance was there. Loads selling them for face value on Twitter as well.

Which means they were only on general for 3 days. 800 were then returned, after which the few remaining (I assume there some still) were quickly sold. As I say, we can all appreciate the financial reasoning behind the quick decision but to have no tickets available to fans for a good week before the fixture, having returned what would otherwise have been available, is most unusual.Tickets were on sale to STH until Jan 27th then on general sale from Jan 28th
I 'd assume that the 800 was a 'section', that we could get refunded on to allow Chelsea to sell to their fans.Which means they were only on general for 3 days. 800 were then returned, after which the few remaining (I assume there some still) were quickly sold. Quite probably. Still not convinced it's the sort of decision to be made so hastily.I 'd assume that the 800 was a 'section', that we could get refunded on to allow Chelsea to sell to their fans.
Once we'd started to sell that section, Chelsea wouldn't be able to sell to their fans and no refund.
It would be nice to finish strongly and carry momentum into the European games but I agree it's hard to get excited now.I really don't even look forward to league games anymore this year :/
Really hoping the 14/15 campaign can get some redemption from Europe, starting with the Swiss.
a 1:1 against lucerne brought us back to the cold and bitter reality. basel is uncatchable and it's just february.
