Well, fair to say Reading will be pleased with their run in the competition. Beating Liverpool, Burnley, and West Bromwich to get to the Quarterfinals was certainly a distraction for the supporters from their Championship relegation battle.

Well that outcome sucks.
I did want Reading to have a semi-final place, I turn it on, it's 2-0 to the Royals, and next thing the opposition have scored three in reply, I could not believe it had turned around so quick,
People will remember Reading this year in the FA cup, like they did Barnsley a year or two ago, only sixth round mind, but they did eliminate some big names to get to where they did.
I still think the biggest disappointment they had was in 1995 when they played Bolton in the play off final, they were 2 or 3 ahead that day, missed a penalty, to give them a Premier league place, and Bolton come back to win in a remarkable reverse of fortune.
I remember that day like yesterday.
