A requested execution could possibly be construed as a slightly harsh form of moderation if we weren't to follow normal GOT protocols of written warnings, judged warnings, temp bans etc.

If we were to dispose of forum members who appear to be, shall we say, slightly odd - we'd need a cull of biblical proportions as the place is infested with loons and nutters... so @GrandOldTeam tells me
Boooooooooooooooooo

I think in this instance, we may actually be doing things right for once, while some clubs may have been back training for a while, others are heading/already are playing/training in warmer climates, we’re training in the cold British climate getting the players used to being back in those conditions in the run up to the game

Looking at other clubs and what they’ve done/doing

Majority of the clubs doing warm weather training came back last weekend.

Personally, I think we have done it wrong and this is proven by every other club in the premier league having a break after the 12th then coming back to do a 4/5 week mini preseason.

Have the rest and recuperate then get back into the hard slog of training.

I've never heard of a team doing a few weeks of pre-season training then stoping half way through to have a holiday. It would be a waste of them weeks training.

I thought it was a subject raising.I wish i could have titled it shorter.
I was prompted to raise it after reading an articke on Wolves new manager.
He said ,i only had four players away,Raul is not in hi plans, hes being sold, went to World Cup against managers wishes, pre injured weeks.

He said he had four weeks , four games plus Carabo Cup match on the 20th.

Everton , us i doubt if we are going to be anywhere near up to Premier League speed.
Ive was in professional fitness, a chartered physiotherapist ,45years,prof football, other sports to.
I just cant see how we are going to be anywhere near the level.
Wolves play an important competitive game next Tues.!!!! they played Cadiz the other day.
This new manager is a Top Bloke.I worry for us on the 26the.They have been warm weather trg.
Be good to hear from Frank.

At least there's a readymade excuse when we're miles off the pace vs Wolves.

Lampard thinking ahead.
Thats what iam thinking , i can hear it now, absolutely nailed on excuse.

Hey i want us to win and win well.A solid 2-0, 1- 0 will do 3 points .
But even at this point of the season its a 6pointer and an almost a must win for the manager.
Not me saying it, but the press are circling.
But i suspect Frank will be offered promotion, the England job and leave us bottom or almost.
