Do you take optimism pills Esk.................................grey skies here mate playing like that. I totally agree that Rom finds it hard to play in that set up so why don't we play to his strengths, why do we have so many wingers to serve a player who can't jump, why was the inventor of the door knocker given the nobel prize......................we have a lot of problems and we shouldn't gloss over them that much no matter how hard it hurts, its the Everton way. Winning away at a championship side in a cup is never anything to sneeze at. Especially when they go up and the crowd finds it's voice.

The side has shown maturity over this opening stretch of games, a maturity that will serve us well if we do go on a long cup run or find ourselves fighting for Europe towards the end of the year. A great win all told

The first half was a descent performance...the second half was one of ascent.
