The flavors on this dish sound very exotic, and it does seem like a simple recipe recipe to make. I want to hear your feedback once you prepare it.Considering giving this one a go. Doesn;t look too taxing

Yes I love Persian food, it's amazing, and this one is probably my favourite Persian dish.Sounds like it. You have had it before?
Do people in Germany eat a lot of persian dishes? I'm not very familiar with Persian food but this seems to be a good first dish to cook, thanks again for the recommendation.Yes I love Persian food, it's amazing, and this one is probably my favourite Persian dish.
No problem! There is quite a big Iranian community in Germany so their food is quite popular. There are loads of Persian/Iranian restaurants in the city where I live. Nice which one? I watched one by Anthony Bourdain and one by Rick Steves - both were good IMO. Watched them on Youtube. Iran is an amazing place. My ex gf is half iranian so I went there a couple of times. Not the easiest of places to visit independently though lolCool, last night I was actually watching
a travel documentary about Iran and it is one of those cultures that I would love to visit and get to encounter. Lucky you that you get to experience their cuisine. Where I live there was one persian restaurant a few years back we ate there once but it closed down so I don't have easy access to such food.
Kenji is golden. Never a disappointment.Sounds like a yummy recipe and unlike @riddick I'm not going vegan anytime soon so I'll definitely check out the video. Thanks for sharing it.
That looks really good. We have a big Syrian/Lebanese community here in Jax. Now I want some baba ghanoosh because I'm too lazy to make this.Found this Lebanese recipe and it sounds very delicious. Now I just nee to figure out how to deep fry the egg plant without a deep fryer.

I have watched two episodes by Rick Steves but I'm going to search for the one from Anthony Bourdain, I'm sure I would enjoy that one too. Nice, you seem to have travelled a lot. I have a friend here in the States that is Iranian so maybe one day we get to visit with his family and he can be our guide.Nice which one? Hahaha, a lot of people don't realize that I'm in Asheville and not Colombia. We have been living here for 18 years. It is a great mountain town, my only complaint is that is not very culturally diverse but I still love our city and our community.Kenji is golden. Never a disappointment.
OT - it took me this long to notice you're in Asheville! Is The Admiral still open in West Asheville and have you been there? I got a great meal there several years ago - a classic hipster joint with food way better than you'd anticipate. My cousin has a place they airBNB out on Balsam Mtn, and we're thinking about coming up sometime later this year, maybe to catch some of the music at Brevard if they are back up and running this summer. I'll let you know if we get up there...
I bought my brother a Vacuvin pump - rubber stoppers replace the cork, the air is drawn out, and the wine keeps. He said what is the point of that, I don't have left over wine? But then he realised he can have another half bottle after the last one...9 and 17 suggest you don't drink wine correctly.
Shouldn't be lasting long enough to get warm and I don't know what leftover wine is!
