Thanks for sharing the recipe, Summerisle.

I have the feeling my daughter will love this cake. I have never used almond flour to bake but this cake may be my first venture with it. If there any tips you want to share after you make it, I certainly want to hear about them.

Cake done, just waiting it to cool for the icing, might use milk chocolate instead of plain, but looking and smelling nice.

Other people will eat it, and they aren't as enamoured with dark chocolate as am I.

I totally understand that and it is very remarkable as a baker to put other people's desires over your own.

There was a follow on video on making dandelion jelly, apparently a poor person's honey - but you need tons of dandelions.
