My dad has the Galaxy S4,and droped it 5 days after getting it a few weeks ago,cracked all down the side of the front and a crack across the middle-cant real tell that one across the middle,but was quoted £200 the least and 280 to fix lol,i need a new phone,was thinking of getting the Galaxy,I phone 4s or I phone 5,dont care as long as its got unlimited net etc,
The reality is they are all good phones, and they all have their strengths and weaknesses. Buying a modern smart phone is more about personal choice, and fashion, than anything else. You get more flexibility with the Android OS, you get a tighter ecosystem and regular updates with an iOS. The carriers will not allow you to buy the higher capacity Android phones so they can sell their cloud services, so if you want to carry a lot of content around with you just make sure the Android handset has the ability to handle memory expansion.

Erm it's actually £629, this whole Android is cheaper is a myth. The only Android phones that are cheaper are the mid range ones, most high end smart phones retail for roughly the same price off contract.
Sadly not quite that straight forward, with an iPhone (provided it's within 12 months or you have Applecare (you'll get it fixed or replaced at an Apple store in what ever country you're in. You won't get that expedited service anywhere else.
With an iPhone, you get a brand new one off Apple for roughly £140. Or if the repair is cheaper, you can get it repaired. They'll typically give you the option though, especially if the phone is scuffed/ scratched etc.
Sorry about your dads phone, and wasn't trying to rub it in, just trying to point out to Chico there is a difference in the levels of customer service
So a brand new Galaxy S4 will be about £200 cheaper despite having much better equipment inside it? Tough decision mate.
Loads of places fix mobiles abroad lid. It may interest you to know that the wider worlds is starting to prefer android too.
By the way Chico, that £629 Samsung S4 is actually only 16Gig. So it's £100 more expensive than the equivalent Apple product, and did I mention it cost less to make it too?
I've no problem if you prefer buying overpriced expensive phones just because they have more marketing hype and spend than any of their competitors.

Let's see what price the SGS4 retails at when it's brought out and compare it to the iPhone 6 mate. We'll see my point.

Apple Warranty's are global, obviously if you don't have an Apple store near by though..........

Dont really know mate-i take no notice,other than he's on it all the time,lol,still works normal like even with the crack-so you's reckon the Galaxy is better,might get one of those then.
