A/ I do, it's encrypted and Apple doesn't have a history of spying on its customers. See recent German case against Google. It's actually never ending with Goodle :)
B/ the Samsung phone in your hand owes more to Apple than an iPhone does to Sammy.
C/ Sarcasm
D/ Been there done that with Windows mobile, it got old fast. Not everyone likes to constantly tinker. P.s you do realise they lock it down for a reason and its got nothing to do with alienating you and everything to do with offering a superior level of customer service for all. And you can always jailbreak if you want to tinker (y)
 

Micro USB port on my Galaxy Nexus is stuffed so can't charge it or feck all.

My 1st one wouldn't update so went back

2nd screen broke so was replaced, new or refurb not sure but diff imei so not same phone.

Now this, which googling seems to suggest is a fault. Will have to get onto it when I get home from hols. Guys on that xda place were getting on to Samsung as these phones cost a fair bit and Samsung could effectively give an unlocked s4 as a replacement and it cost them next to nothing.
Worth a shot tbh. Otherwise it'll be an insurance job as they provided it less than 12 months ago. I'd settle for a cheque to get a nexus4 and case if I'm honest and thatd be poss better deal for them as well.
