It was '76 and that was a great film, RUNNER!. Think they're remaking that as well which looks promising but will probably be crap

I've heard that they are going to do a remake.

Like you said. Promising but could underdeliver.

If they did it right though, it could be really good.

I want to look forward to it but all remakes have been utter rubbish, ala Halloween, Texas Chainsaw, Assault on Precinct 13, Death Race, The Italian Job, The Stepford Wives, The Haunting, Invasion of the Bodysnatchers, War of the Worlds, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory etc. Could go on forever

In fact has there ever been a remake thats been any good, King Kong and LOTR are the only 1's I can think of, not sure if LOTR counts though as the original film version was a cartoon and only covered The Fellowship as they ran out of money mid-production
