I was about to say the subreddit wasn't that bad. Unfortunately it turns out its a place full of whiny bishes who don't like having the door closed on them and want a podium to shout about the travesty and other crimes against humanity.
There are a couple decent ones though, like the one ( @TheKr0w ?) who makes the post-match infographics with polled player ratings and stuff.

You should consider some kind of monthly give away.. £2 a month raffle, the prize is an Everton Jersey, hoodie or something around the 50-60 pound mark. If you got 100 people per month paying 2 pounds that would be 150 into the coffers per month, I'd gladly pay 2pounds a month for entry to that.. maybe intrest wouldn't be there.
