Refs in Europe

Just seen it again. Didnt exactly make a huge effort to get at the ball. Seemed like he stuck his arm out to grab the opponent or pick the ball up! Either way there was not a lot of re-action from the Arsenal defence in defending the free kick so still have no sympathies at all, and cant see what the ref did wrong to be honest apart from allow a goal that was well within the rules!

All opinion m8.
Even football presenters can't agree.

They 'all' agree on the penalty though, and the fact that Klose was a mile offside.

About the Quick taken freekick, ref was fully in the right there. Nothing he did wrong. Arsenal were at fault.

1. Fabianski should have held on to that ball longer, to give Arsenal the chance to have players back to defend the free kick.

2. Some Arsenal players did have a chance to get back behind the ball, especially Sol Campbell. With his experience he should have known better.

Arsenal fail and Wenger blames someone else, seems an ever familiar story. You wonder when Fabregas will sod off eh?

Changing the subject slightly to Refs in the Prem:

Spurs should have had 2 players sent off yesterday, but neither player was punished, and Defoe actually went on to score their first goal whilst rediculously offside. Huddlestone escaped a 2nd yellow too.

Mascherano should also have received a straight red, but again, went unpunished.

Oh, and the bad turf at Wigan will be replaced ahead of the Liverpool game.

Surely the FA will give these players a ban? And hopefully the refs too.
