Relegated Players You'd Want

Thats the one Roberts. Should go for him and redmond.

Jonathan tah sounds amazing but has 25mil euro clause.
If only real life was like fifa lol We could have signed Tah for a million, Soumaro (Defender from Lille) for pennies, and had a fantastic defence in 4 years time.

Both have big fees over them now though in real life.

(That and i have only heard of them through the game lol)

Its a good job Bobby got the Everton job and not you lot with your potential signings.

Even Martinez has shown from buying from relegated teams it doesn't work - Roubles, Kone?

We improved a lot last season and you all want us to stagnate?

Martinez has to go to the board and tell him who he wants to take us to the next level and not to just build up our other operating costs with transfer money not spent.

All out buying with every penny we have got to buy quality for what will be a big season next year with the added challenges European football brings.

Onwards and upwards not cheap and sideways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah that McCarthy from relegated Wigan didn't work out too well.

I'm not against signing relegated players, I just don't think any of the relegated teams have anyone worth looking at this year.

Id have Marshall from Cardiff all day long. Would be a much better Europa League/Capital One Cup option for when he wants to rest Howard.

Norwich
Fer: Would add depth to CM
Redmond: Excellent replacement for Deulofeu

Fulham
Mitroglou: Could be sold for a cut price, clearly talented
Hangelaand: Excellent, experienced PL CB

Cardiff
Medel: Quality defensive mid, had a brilliant game against us early in the season
Caulker: Good CB
Marshall: PL keeper of the season in my opinion

No to greek strikers thanks lol

Leroy Fer is quality. Was a standout for Norwich and would add much needed power in the midfield.
Only 24. Will definitely get picked up by one of the big clubs.

Kone got Injured and Robles is a young back up keeper that was more highly rated that DeGea in Spain, bit harsh to judge either really at this stage, Alcarez could be regarded as poor but again injured for ages and looked good in some games (was also a free transfer). And your forgetting McCarthy who turned out to be not too shabby.
Jose Baxter was rated, now in the championship, Roubles has played and looked pants, the few times Kone played looked awful and wants time off for Ramadam? McCarthy isn't bad, but for the price I would expect a lot more.

Mind your tongue on the religious thing mate - I don't want you to get sued.

if Barry won't sign with us Medel will be an astute replacement. He isn't Arturo Vidal (who is probably twice the player), but his natural role is what Busquets is famed for and what Barry is playing as this year.

Fer might be worth a punt, but I'm still not 100% convinced.

The only player I will certainly jump on will be Snodgrass, if his fee is decent. He basically kept the Norwich season longer than it should, with a misfiring striker (who also provided little else) and a GK which people will remember for his disastrous spell here.

There's some good talent that got relagated. We can't take them all ofcourse but if we wanted we could certainly snatch a few and be happy about the product we're getting. Daehli is the big talent that went down and fits our team to a T. Basically its Daehli, Fer, Redmond, and Fabio who were in the actual teams and then there's remy and taarbt by association.

I notice how we've only spoken about players relegated from the prem.
GERMANY- Hakan Calhanoglu, Jonathan Tah, Max Beister
ITALY- Keko, Panagiotis Kone
FRANCE- Guillermo Ochoa, Pape Camara
SPAIN- Cedrick (some may remember from pre-season), Ruben Castro, Nosa Igiebor, Jeffren
No real worldies but would all be decent squad players at least I think

I remember this guy terrorised our right hand side (or left?) in the friendly v Betis. Seems his career needs a bit of a jump start wouldnt be too expensive and still young. What you guys think?

Exactly my reasoning for putting him in the list, very exiting player, never going to be a world beater but could potentially make the difference and give us the edge in a few games, kind of like a Yannick Bolasie style player. I reckon 1.5-2 million would be a steal
