Nah. No points deductions for this season. These things drag on years - look at City who have broken every rule in the book. Probably further transfer restrictions though which will, if we avoid relegation this season, mean we're a cert for another relegation fight next season.
The one good thing about a transfer restriction is we won't be able to spend millions on worse players like we normally do.

Feels like there is a sad inevitability. It might not be this season but we are going to be operating with one hand tied behind our back for years

I wish I shared your positives about the CB's. We had a 'strap' rather than a cane. Once I was sent to the headmasters office to fetch it (for my own beating of course) .examining it on my return I discovered it was handmade in Ireland. Imagine owning a company that specialised in products manufactured for beating children. Hopefully long gone now. Anyway.... relegation?
Bring us the boy, we'll give you back the man. Was one of their justifications for iinstitutionalised violence. The very compassionate church, no wonder there are so many 'lapsed catholics' like me around. Anyway relegation, we might just beat it.

Always said we'll be fine as long as we've got Goodison, certainly won't go down this year or next year. The adjustment period to BMD may be a problem if this isn't resolved.

Our fanbase just won't accept relegation.

If they were treated as the business that they really are, they'd have been hounded out of every country years ago

idk. I feel as long as we survive this season Dyche will steady the ship and we will be fine for the near future. Where I am worried is how we escape the FFP woes and can we start building from the academy? We not only have to find a source of revenue (player sales), but we also have to keep a stable lineup and preferably add some talent. It will be tough in the long term.
