If we can’t manage to stay up with our remaining fixtures we absolutely deserve to go down. No ifs ands or buts. Our toughest stretch of matches are over with and we managed to get more points than any of us had expected. This last stretch of games is where we SHOULD pick up a lot of points. There is no reason we can’t beat Fulham and Bournemouth at home, and win 2 of 3 on the road against Palace, Leicester and Wolves. Between Newcastle, Brighton, and City, we need at least 2. That would put us at 41 points. I think we will need 36 plus to stay alive.

They never turn up at Goodison, it’s their biggest bogey ground
Could be one of those periods in the season for a team like Fulham, who have exceeded all expectations so far, when the wheels just start to fall off. Going out of the cup in the way they did at united and in doing so losing the talisman for 8 games and also having lost their last 4 league games. Hoping they may now have put the cue on the rack, safe in 10th and a European place looking well out of reach.

Fulham have lost 4 in a row and without Mitrovic they’re not the same team. I’m very confident for this one.
The problem with a team on a bad run is that you know the bad run will eventually stop....the longest it goes, the more likely the win is around the corner...hopefully it is not against us...but missing doucoure and probably dcl will make it difficult for us to get the goals we need.

TBF Kev, you said just hour an hour odd ago Palace weren't getting back into it, its why i asked before ko what is best for you on the result, as every result seems to not be right lol
Er I did say a palace win was the best result

Made no comment on whether a Leeds win was better than a draw or not

If we don't beat Fulham it's very hard to make a case for us beating Palace the following week given our atrocious record away from home.

We're in danger of a sizable gap developing between us and the rest of the teams above.
True, but neither would it be the most surprising of results that we beat Palace away. It's one very mediocre team playing another very mediocre team.
