Stanley.What’s the boozer mate?
Probably just make do with half if that’s ok. (The second half!)
Sound - bet the ale is tasting sweeter with this footy.Stanley.
Only come here to watch the footy otherwise I don’t bother.Sound - bet the ale is tasting sweeter with this footy.
Stanley was my local when I wore a younger man’s clothes.
Exactly. Talent wise they are above and beyond us. We should play physical and may I even say dirty as well? Not purposely hurting anyone of course but let them know we aren’t going to let them walk all over us especially at home.
Hopefully they’ll be on the beach when we play them.
Fair play to Hodgson - really didn't expect him to start pulling the wins out for Palace.
Needs probably a stint at the helm of some other, smaller national team to learn the trade. Let's say something in the lines of... Finland.A future England manager for sure
Or the fact that we waited so long to replace lampard.I’m still astounded by the fact we effectively decided to write the first 5 games of the season off.
well yes i agree we would deserve to go down I'm just not convinced we will do enough and obviously don't want us to go downThe six-pointers are wonderful opportunities to bury our rivals. What more do people want?
If we cannot take five points from Palace, Wolves, and Leicester, we can have no complaints. We have to earn our right to survive. All this gnashing of teeth and wailing over tough matches is a joke. Our matches are not tough at all - they are standard difficulty for a poor side like us. Will we get five points from those games? Who knows? But if we lose two or three of them, well, we will have no choice but to accept that our players are Championship level.
I think we can, at a bare minimum, take four points from those games. The key will be to ensure that we do not lose to Leicester. A win then at either Palace or Wolves would keep us afloat. Of course, the preference is to win the three points at Leicester and draw one of the other two. But this cannot be beyond us if we deserve to stay up.
Preach it brother! Preach it!I love it in here lol Makes my tedious life feel so much better lol
Aged well, this.Let’s not write Leeds out of the equation yet. Massive game for them today. They have Liverpool next week…
Each result is worse for us than the other. So no result is ideal for us then?
